Katerina Sermpezi
Integrative psychotherapy – Body-focused Gestalt
Become who you are.
In psychotherapy we turn our attention to what concerns us, and also to what persists or repeats itself even when it is not always easy to understand. With curiosity for what has already taken shape, and room for what can still change.
My philosophy
Care, like a person, is not one-dimensional.
Relationships, the body, everyday life, work, community, and the conditions we live in all take part in how we feel, think, and relate.
From that thought, Riza also emerged. From the wish for a space that is not limited to the therapy session, but can open toward groups, education, actions, collaborations, and different ways of meeting.
Psychotherapy is at the core of my work, though not on its own. I am interested in what happens within us and between us, and also in the frame in which we try, each time, to exist.

In my darkest periods, at the hardest moments of truth, Katerina was the guide who helped me turn my gaze toward the light. With professionalism and genuine empathy, she gave me not ready-made answers, but the tools to face my own self.
-
She does her work so naturally that you forget you are speaking to a professional and feel her as your own person. During a very difficult period of my life she helped me immensely — to understand myself and to see what is better for me.
-
Outstanding in her work. Although I had previously had sessions with other therapists, none managed to unlock the parts that Katerina did.
-
What I appreciate about Katerina is how much she listens and how few yet precisely on-point words she says back — asking the simplest guiding questions and giving me room to breathe. So glad I found her.
-
My first encounter with psychotherapy, and Katerina helped me gradually bring things into order. After one and a half years of sessions I continue to feel that I am taking small, steady steps forward.
-
With Katerina we made great progress in a very short time — something I did not expect. I have seen real progress with my anxiety; she explains my thoughts clearly and has helped me understand the causes of many anxious situations.
-
A wonderful professional and a radiant person. She makes the experience of psychotherapy feel held, even when difficult conversations are called for — in a safe environment that genuinely targets the real problem.
-
An exceptionally good professional and person. I felt at ease from the very first moment with the trust she helped me feel — and not being ashamed of anything helped me enormously. I recommend her without reservation.
-
Beyond being an excellent professional, she is a wonderful person who made me feel at ease from the very first moment. I have been in therapy with Katerina for a few months and I see genuine self-improvement.
-
Exceptional in her work from every angle. She has impressive awareness of her field, is perceptive and astute. She commands a broad palette of tools and methods, which she deploys with real effectiveness.
-
An exceptional psychologist and, above all, a human being. She makes you feel at ease and safe from the first session. She will genuinely help you understand and manage the difficulties you face.
-
A professional who inspires trust — thoroughly trained and well informed. A combination of experience, despite her youth, that radiates calm and assurance.

Common questions
Questions before you begin?
Asking for help is not always easy. Sometimes there is a clear difficulty; sometimes only a sense that something is not going as you would like. The questions below come from people who once found themselves in the same place.
-
01. Do I need a “serious” problem to begin?
No. Many people come because they feel stuck, repeat the same patterns in their relationships, or simply sense they have drifted from themselves. Therapy is not only about crises — it is also about understanding. -
02. Will I have to talk about things I do not want to?
No. Each person decides what to share and when. Trust is built gradually, and therapy moves forward with respect for your personal pace. -
03. What is the first meeting like?
The first meeting is an opportunity to get acquainted. We will talk about what brings you here, understand your request more fully, and see whether this way of working fits your needs. -
04. How long will therapy last?
There is no single answer for everyone. Duration depends on your request, your goals, and how each person wishes to work. The path takes shape within the collaboration. -
05. Will you give me advice?
Therapy is not primarily based on advice. The aim is for you to understand yourself more deeply, so that choices arise from greater awareness rather than ready-made answers.
